Project Manager (Hybrid - New York)
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our New York-based team in a hybrid capacity. This role is responsible for leading project teams through all phases of an architectural project, including defining scope, managing budgets and schedules, and executing work plans.

What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and support junior team members to drive project success and professional growth
- Assign tasks based on project scope and team strengths while providing technical direction and creative problem-solving
- Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring clear communication with clients, consultants, and permitting authorities throughout all phases
- Manage project deliverables, budgets, and documentation coordination across disciplines including structural, MEP, and civil
- Oversee quality control for construction documentation
- Lead internal and external project meetings and guide responses to plan review comments and scope changes
- Support construction administration activities, including site visits, submittals, RFIs, and contractor coordination
- Forecast staffing, revenue, and resource needs; contribute to billing, invoicing, and collections
- Provide regular project updates to leadership and assist with proposals, contracts, performance reviews, and hiring efforts
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent experience
- Architectural licensure or progress toward licensure preferred; LEED accreditation is a plus
- Experience managing retail projects from concept through construction in fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, construction methods, codes, and accessibility standards
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities
- Willingness to travel as needed
Experience With
- Retail design, including prototypes, custom detailing, and space planning
- Building and maintaining client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
- Managing project scope, schedules, coordination, and communication across stakeholders
- Improving production processes while delivering projects on time and within budget
- Forecasting staffing and resource allocations
- Revit, Bluebeam, SketchUp, Photoshop
