We are seeking a Texas-licensed Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to lead and grow a survey practice in a high-impact leadership role. This position offers significant autonomy, entrepreneurial freedom, and the ability to shape the future of the survey group. You will have the opportunity to build a team, manage complex projects, and set the standard for quality and performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Practice Leadership: Establish and expand the Texas survey team. Recruit, train, and mentor staff while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Project Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle of survey projects, including planning, field operations, technical review, budgeting, and invoicing.
  • Technical Expertise: Direct and review ALTA/NSPS, boundary, and control surveys. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
  • Quality Control: Serve as the final reviewer for all deliverables, maintaining accuracy and consistency across projects.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver solutions that meet project goals and timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Texas RPLS license required (or LSIT with ability to obtain licensure promptly).
  • Minimum 3 years of professional land surveying experience.
  • Proficiency with GPS, robotic total stations, and modern survey software; experience with Trimble Access/TBC or AutoCAD strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license required for field operations.
