Senior Electrical Engineer - Clean Energy
Our client is a well-established, mid-sized energy & infrastructure firm that has a portfolio of active projects and assets across the country.
We are currently seeking an experienced electrical engineer with a background in substations for the utility and/or industrial sector that would like to apply their design & engineering skills to a broader role where they will focus on electrical engineering for power utility, data center, and/or renewable energy system projects.
Opportunity for remote and/or hybrid flexible set up depending on candidate.
Qualifications/Ideal Background:
- 5-10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
- SME experience with several areas including or not limited too: substation general arrangements, control house layouts, physical details, grounding, lightening protection, conduit/trench layout, material lists, construction specifications, protection & control systems, power system studies, relay settings.
- Experience on 69 to 345kV (or higher) projects.
- Comfortable being in a role that is people facing - working with various vendors, EPCs, interconnection and development stakeholders.
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related four year degree.
- PE License is a plus but not required.
*Must be based in the US for consideration.
*If considered for remote, must be willing and open to occasional travel as needed.
