My client, a leading national MEP firm, is seeking a qualified Senior Project Manager to oversee complex energy and infrastructure projects in Washington, D.C. This is an onsite role with responsibility for managing all phases of project execution, ensuring delivery that meets high standards of quality, safety, and budget control. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, driving strategic execution and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage large-scale or multiple complex projects, acting as the primary point of contact during construction.
• Collaborate with development teams to assess constructability, pricing, and scheduling.
• Oversee budget reports, cost projections, change orders, and schedules of values.
• Lead project meetings and ensure alignment across departments and clients.
• Make strategic decisions on critical issues and policy matters.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, including performance management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project management.
• Proven ability to manage large, complex teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, lighting, controls, generation, and water systems.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, ERP systems, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills.
• Deep understanding of building codes, permitting, and construction methods.
