Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Engineer to design efficient, compliant, and sustainable facilities for complex infrastructure projects. This role involves translating technical requirements into buildable designs and collaborating across disciplines from concept through construction to deliver high‑performance environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural and engineering designs and construction documentation
- Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure integrated solutions
- Perform building system analyses and ensure compliance with codes and regulations
- Incorporate sustainable and energy‑efficient design principles
- Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and conduct site visits as needed
- Collaborate with clients and present design concepts and technical documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of architectural design and engineering experience
- Professional licensure preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools
- Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and codes
- Experience with sustainable design practices
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- LEED accreditation
- Experience with parametric design, cost estimating, or energy modeling
- Background in specialized building types (e.g., healthcare, education)
