Role & Responsibilities

The Associate will support valuation and financial modeling efforts by:

  • Coordinating data collection and conducting financial and risk analyses.
  • Maintaining and updating financial models for acquisitions and energy offtake proposals.
  • Ensuring accuracy and proper incorporation of inputs into financial models.
  • Collaborating with internal development teams and external partners to gather model inputs.
  • Identifying key economic and financial risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Designing and executing sensitivity analyses to support strategic decisions.
  • Providing research to support contract negotiations and project acquisitions.
  • Evaluating and recommending commercial offtake options aligned with business goals.
  • Working cross-functionally with teams such as Development, M&A, Origination, Transmission, Legal, Project Finance, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction.
  • Implementing creative commercialization strategies to reduce risk and enhance project value.
  • Collecting competitive intelligence and performing benchmarking analyses.
  • Providing market insights to inform development and acquisition strategies.
  • Demonstrating a high level of motivation and a collaborative mindset.
  • Performing other duties as assigned (approximately 5%).

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in renewable energy development and valuation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
