We are seeking a highly motivated Bridge Project Manager to lead structural engineering projects and support our mission of building stronger communities. This role offers the opportunity to guide the next generation of engineers while managing diverse transportation-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead bridge and structural engineering projects, including scope creation, budgeting, and design coordination.
- Analyze and design bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and sign structure foundations.
- Serve as a primary contact for clients, contractors, and local officials.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective engineering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.
- Prepare engineering proposals and manage project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Kentucky or eligible for reciprocity.
- 10+ years of experience in bridge design and project management.
- Experience with DOT clients, particularly KYTC.
- Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer (ORD), and structural analysis/design software.
- Strong knowledge of bridge construction materials and methods.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Team Leader Bridge Inspection certification is a plus.
Additional Details:
- This position may be based in Louisville, KY, or other regional offices.
- Travel up to 10% may be required.
