CEO of New Platform
The CEO will lead the establishment, growth, and full-cycle management of the Company's renewable energy development activities in the Philippines, with a primary focus on solar and battery energy storage (BESS) projects. This role requires deep, hands‑on experience within the Philippine energy market, including familiarity with local regulators, permitting processes, offtake structures, and development dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Build-Out & Leadership
- Establish, expand, and lead the Philippines project development organization.
- Develop governance structures, performance frameworks, and capability‑building plans.
2. Origination & Due Diligence
- Identify, assess, and qualify new solar and BESS development opportunities in the Philippines.
- Lead and coordinate technical, commercial, legal, ESG, and financial due diligence.
3. Project Development, Permitting & Offtake
- Oversee land acquisition, grid studies, SIS applications, NTP processes, and all permitting requirements.
- Lead strategy and negotiations for corporate PPAs, government procurement, and other offtake structures.
4. Stakeholder Engagement & External Representation
- Represent the Company at industry events, regulatory engagements, forums, and conferences.
- Build and manage relationships with national and local government bodies, regulators, utilities, LGUs, landowners, and partners.
- Establish and maintain a strong vendor, EPC, and supply‑chain network.
5. Contracting, Financing & Execution Support
- Support EPC contracting, commercial negotiations, supplier engagements, and development service agreements.
- Participate in investment committee processes and project financing activities.
- Support future capital raising efforts and potential divestment processes.
- Oversee project transition from development to construction and commissioning.
6. Operations
- Define and implement the Company's operational strategy for solar and BESS assets in line with Board‑approved plans.
- Ensure optimal asset performance, operational budgeting, rigorous HSE and ESG compliance, and high QA/QC standards.
7. Investor Relations & Reporting
- Provide timely reporting to the Sponsor, Board, and investors.
- Ensure compliance with AB&C policies, uphold ethical conduct, and maintain robust governance and risk‑reporting practices.
8. KPI Delivery
- Deliver KPIs defined in Annex A, including development milestones, pipeline expansion, regulatory progress, team build‑out, and long‑term value creation.
Mandatory Requirement
- Extensive Philippines market experience in renewable energy sectors, with proven stakeholder networks and understanding of local regulatory, permitting, land, and offtake frameworks.
