Are you an experienced Commissioning professional looking to work on some of the most advanced data center projects in the United States?
Our client is a leading mission-critical construction and engineering firm seeking a Travelling Commissioning Manager to oversee commissioning activities on large-scale hyperscale and colocation data center developments across the country.
Responsibilities
- Lead the commissioning process from planning through project turnover.
- Manage and coordinate commissioning agents, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures.
- Oversee functional testing of critical MEP systems, including electrical, mechanical, controls, and life safety systems.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with client requirements.
- Identify and resolve commissioning issues while maintaining project momentum.
- Provide regular progress updates and reporting to project teams and clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commissioning experience within data center/mission-critical environments.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Experience managing commissioning activities on large-scale data center projects.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
