Construction Scheduler

A multidisciplinary consulting firm is looking for a Scheduling Analyst to support construction oversight and design-related initiatives across multiple regions. This role is embedded within a centralized program management team and involves close collaboration with internal staff, client representatives, contractors, and stakeholders. The primary focus is on evaluating project timelines, identifying risks, and producing performance reports for major infrastructure investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with procurement planning and monitor progress of critical project activities.
  • Coordinate logistics for equipment and material staging and storage.
  • Track key milestones and dependencies across program phases.
  • Manage updates to short- and long-term project schedules.
  • Serve as a liaison with clients to advance contract deliverables.
  • Conduct delay assessments using recognized industry techniques.
  • Flag potential schedule risks and provide early warnings.
  • Participate in coordination meetings with internal teams and external partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or program management.
  • Ability to interpret and build complex project schedules.
  • Familiarity with Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
  • Proficient in scheduling software such as Primavera.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Understanding of contract principles and procedures.
  • Effective communicator with strong writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of construction sequencing, especially for transportation and highway projects.
  • Willingness to occasionally work on-site near active construction zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as construction, engineering, or architecture.
  • Experience with scheduling and project management tools like TILOS and Procore.
