Overview
We're working with a rapidly expanding data centre operator delivering mission critical infrastructure across key US markets. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to bring on a Data Center Technician to support day-to-day operations across a live facility.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who understands the importance of uptime, reliability, and operational excellence within a high-availability environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data centre systems
- Rack, stack, and cable servers, network equipment, and hardware
- Monitor power, cooling, and environmental systems to ensure optimal performance
- Respond to alarms and execute incident response procedures
- Support vendor activity and ensure work is completed safely and to standard
- Maintain accurate documentation of assets, procedures, and activities
- Assist with planned preventative maintenance and site audits
Requirements
- Experience working in a data centre, critical environment, or similar technical setting
- Understanding of IT hardware, cabling infrastructure, and network basics
- Familiarity with power and cooling systems within mission critical facilities is preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required
