Project Engineer / Design Engineer - Land Development

Our client, a boutique engineering firm known for its innovative approach to land development, is seeking a Project Engineer / Design Engineer to join their team in Lafayette, California. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and mixed-use development projects in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead and support the design of land development projects from planning through construction.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, reports, and calculations.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and public agencies.
Assist with permitting and ensure regulatory compliance.
Conduct site visits and provide construction support.
Mentorship from senior engineers and help contribute to team development.

Qualifications:

B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).
E.I.T. certification or P.E. license (preferred or in progress).
2+ years of experience in land development or site design.
Proficiency in Civil 3D and structural design tools.
Strong technical and communication skills.
