Salary: $170,000 - $230,000 DOE

Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Regional Director of Environmental Services to lead our Washington operations. This leadership role is ideal for a licensed Geologist or Engineer with a minimum of 15 years of experience in environmental site assessment, investigation, remediation, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, diverse project experience, and a proven ability to drive business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy

    • Oversee and grow the Washington office, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
    • Develop and execute regional business strategies to expand market presence and client base.
    • Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Project Management & Technical Oversight

    • Lead complex environmental projects including site characterization, remediation, and regulatory negotiations.
    • Provide senior-level technical guidance and quality assurance across multidisciplinary teams.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Business Development

    • Cultivate relationships with private sector clients, regulatory agencies, and industry partners.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Washington and neighboring states.
    • Prepare and present proposals, scopes of work, and budgets.
  • Operations & Logistics

    • Manage regional operations including staffing, resource allocation, and financial performance.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize project delivery and client satisfaction.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators and office metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure:

    • Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in Washington State.
    • Licensure in Oregon and California is a significant plus.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 15 years in environmental consulting with a focus on contaminated site work.
    • Demonstrated success in managing diverse projects and teams.
    • Experience working with private clientele is strongly preferred.
