This role will lead the routing and siting of linear infrastructure, ensuring that environmental, regulatory, and constructability considerations are integrated from the earliest stages of project development.

  • Manage environmental permitting at federal, state, and local levels (e.g., USACE 404/10, Coastal Use, stormwater, endangered species).
  • Conduct and oversee wetland delineations, biological assessments, and natural resource planning to support project siting and compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, legal, and project management teams to ensure regulatory compliance and project efficiency.
  • Serve as a technical mentor and strategic advisor within a small, high-performing environmental team.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in environmental permitting and regulatory affairs, with a strong focus on midstream oil & gas.
  • Educational background in biology, environmental science, or natural resources; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience with pipeline routing, siting, and permitting, including stream and river crossings, wetlands, and sensitive habitats.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory agencies and permitting processes (e.g., USACE, USFWS, TCEQ).
  • Experience with automated route analysis tools and digital data integration is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional collaboration.

Benefits:

  • Flexible paid time off and a culture that supports work-life balance
  • Multiple bonus structures tied to project performance and team success
  • Leadership visibility and the opportunity to shape environmental strategy across a national platform
  • Professional growth through cross-functional collaboration and high-impact project work
  • Supportive team environment with access to top-tier resources and technical expertise
