The Role
We are seeking an ESG Business Development Manager to accelerate the growth of sustainability and climate services. This role combines strategic business development with hands-on delivery, shaping proposals and leading light-to-moderate project work across ESG strategy, climate risk, decarbonization, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development efforts: client engagement, lead generation, RFP review, proposal preparation, and pricing.
- Represent the company at events, speaking engagements, and networking forums to expand brand presence.
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline across key sectors beyond real estate.
- Create compelling sales assets including case studies, thought leadership, and presentations.
- Nurture partnerships with technology vendors, data providers, auditors, and legal/PE firms to co-develop opportunities.
- Support project delivery in ESG analytics, GHG assessments, decarbonization strategy, and risk planning.
- Develop bespoke sustainability policies and standards addressing energy, water, circular economy, and climate change.
- Stay current on ESG trends, regulations, and best practices to inform strategic decisions.
- Travel frequently for client workshops and events across GCC and MENA.
