What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day branch operations and team leadership
- Mentor and guide geotechnical engineers and technical staff
- Oversee project portfolios to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables
- Build and maintain strong client relationships; identify new business opportunities
- Coordinate with other branch managers and executive leadership
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, industry regulations, and quality protocols
- Monitor branch financial performance, budgeting, and resource planning
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related discipline (Master's preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Virginia PE preferred
- 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience with proven project management success
- Strong leadership ability with a collaborative, motivational style
- Demonstrated business development and client management skills
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Proficiency with industry-standard geotechnical software and tools
