Geotechnical engineer
An established and forward-thinking engineering firm is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join their expanding team. This role offers the chance to work on impactful infrastructure and land development projects while growing your technical and leadership capabilities.
Your Role
- Plan and execute subsurface investigations and geotechnical field programs.
- Interpret geologic and geotechnical data to support design recommendations.
- Develop comprehensive technical reports and engineering analyses.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive project solutions.
- Oversee field activities such as drilling, sampling, and construction observation.
- Engage with clients, contractors, and permitting agencies to ensure project alignment.
What You Bring to the Table
- 3-5 years of applied geotechnical engineering experience.
- Solid foundation in soil behavior, foundation systems, and slope analysis.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software (e.g., gINT, LPILE, GeoStudio, etc.).
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's preferred).
- EIT certification required; PE license or eligibility is a plus.
