I'm working with a leading geotechnical engineering firm in Southern California to find a talented Staff Geotechnical Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their technical expertise while contributing to impactful infrastructure and development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform field investigations, soil sampling, and laboratory testing.
- Assist in preparing geotechnical reports, including analysis for foundations, retaining structures, and slope stability.
- Support senior engineers with design recommendations and project execution.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience: 1-3 years in geotechnical engineering (internship or full-time).
- Education: Bachelor's in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's a plus).
- Licensure: EIT required; PE track preferred.
- Strong technical foundation in soil mechanics and geotechnical analysis.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
