Senior Estimator - Heavy Civil (Remote)
A global construction group with a long-standing reputation for excellence is expanding its heavy civil operations in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team focused on delivering complex infrastructure projects across the Mid-Atlantic.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cost estimates for hard bid, design-build, and progressive design-build projects
- Analyze plans, specs, and documentation to prepare accurate estimates
- Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
- Support bid submissions, attend pre-bid meetings, and conduct site visits
- Prepare change order estimates and assist with ongoing project pricing
Qualifications
- 10+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction
- Strong knowledge of DOT and municipal projects in the DMV area
- Familiarity with design-build delivery methods
- Proficient in estimating software (e.g., HCSS, HeavyBid) and MS Excel
- Civil Engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred
