Interior Designer (Intermediate to Senior Level)
Salary: $90,000-$110,000
Location: New York City (Hybrid)
Our client is seeking a skilled and passionate Interior Designer to join their hospitality-focused team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys solving spatial challenges, and is eager to shape environments that elevate both service efficiency and guest experience-especially in restaurant and commercial kitchen settings.
What You'll Do:
- Design layouts for front-of-house dining and back-of-house kitchen areas
- Lead client conversations around kitchen equipment, layout strategy, and operational goals
- Source and specify FF&E and materials for hospitality spaces
- Present design concepts through sketches, models, and visual storytelling
- Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and internal teams throughout all project phases
- Ensure ADA/code compliance and support construction administration with design reviews and RFIs
What You Bring:
- 5-8 years of interior design experience, ideally in hospitality or food service environments
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative mindset
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Rhino, SketchUp, Lumion a plus)
- Highly organized, flexible, and self-motivated
- A multidisciplinary perspective and a passion for innovation and technology
