We're seeking a Land Development Director to manage site development projects and mentor a talented group of engineers and designers. From grading and stormwater systems to utility layouts, you'll play a key role in delivering technically sound, cost-effective, and community-focused solutions.
Your Role:
- Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers and technicians across diverse land development projects.
- Oversee site design including grading, stormwater management, roadway, and utility layouts using Civil 3D.
- Ensure technical excellence through QA/QC reviews and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies to meet project goals and timelines.
- Support scope, budget, and schedule development for engineering assignments.
- Guide junior staff through coaching, training, and professional development.
- Communicate project details and updates to clients, sub-consultants, and government agencies.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, including 1-2 years in a leadership role is preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTurn, HydroCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
