Land Surveyor - LSIT
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) to join our growing team in Dayton, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to advance their career in land surveying within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting field surveys and collecting data using GPS, total stations, and other survey equipment.
- Support the preparation of survey drawings, legal descriptions, and plats.
- Perform boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys under the supervision of licensed surveyors.
- Process and analyze survey data using CAD and other software tools.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and other team members on multidisciplinary projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- LSIT certification required.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for fieldwork.
