Position Overview: They are seeking a skilled and experienced O&M Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the operations and maintenance of renewable energy systems, particularly solar farms and C&I Solar. This role involves ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and efficiency of our renewable energy assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Interrogate and analyze data to identify trends, optimize performance, and make informed decisions about maintenance and operations.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on solar farms and BESS.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Implement preventive maintenance strategies to enhance system reliability.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize system performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and training to field technicians.
- Participate in the development and implementation of O&M best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in O&M within the renewables sector.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and BESS technology.
- Proficiency in using monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to train and mentor others.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various sites.
