Operations Manager (Events & AV)
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in audio-visual production to support the delivery of high-quality events across the conference, exhibition, and hospitality sectors.
This role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, supporting project delivery teams, and ensuring seamless execution across multiple events. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong leadership, technical understanding, and organisational capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and execution of AV operations across conferences, exhibitions, and live events
- Support and guide operational and on-site teams to ensure successful delivery
- Collaborate closely with sales and project teams to align on client requirements and execution plans
- Maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction across all projects
- Assist with resource planning, scheduling, and logistics coordination
- Provide leadership and direction to team members, fostering a positive and results-driven environment
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience within AV operations in the events, conference, or hospitality industry
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience supporting or managing operational teams
- Solid technical understanding of AV equipment and event production processes
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
