Position Title: Project Architect
Salary Range: Competitive based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (with an option for a 36-hour workweek if project milestones allow). Currently a remote position, with potential for hybrid arrangement as the company grows.
Location: This is a remote role, but applicants must reside in either Dallas, TX or San Antonio, TX for occasional site visits. Periodic in-person meetings will take place at our strategic planning office in Norman, OK.

Job Overview:
As a Project Architect, you will play a crucial role in leading architectural design, ensuring project success from concept through to execution. This includes creating high-quality construction documents, collaborating with clients and internal teams, and managing all aspects of design and construction for projects. Your leadership and expertise will ensure that designs align with client needs, timelines, and budgets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and creativity.
Responsibilities:
Project Design Leadership: Oversee the design and integration of engineering and architectural elements to create cohesive and innovative designs.
Construction Documentation: Lead the creation of detailed construction documents, including Conceptual, Schematic, and Detailed Designs, while managing the design team's activities.
Client & Consultant Coordination: Act as a liaison between clients, consultants, and the internal team to ensure that designs meet requirements and expectations.
Project Management: Ensure projects are on track with deadlines and budgets, providing regular status updates to the project manager and addressing any potential risks.
Quality Control: Maintain a focus on constructability, building code compliance, and design specifications to guarantee high-quality results.
Software Proficiency: Set up projects in Revit and Autodesk Build, ensuring all team members and consultants have the tools and access they need to collaborate effectively.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and interns, helping them grow their skills and align with company standards.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of architectural experience, ideally with government and commercial projects.
Licensing: Active, valid architect license in good standing.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient with industry-standard software (Revit, AutoCAD, project management tools).
Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction details, building systems, and code compliance.
Problem Solving: Ability to approach complex design challenges with innovative, efficient solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare Design: Experience in healthcare architecture and design.
Government Projects: Previous work on government or institutional projects.
Green Building Certification: LEED or Green Globes accreditation.
