Responsibilities:
- Author, edit, review, and approve lifecycle documentation for computerized systems (URS, FRS, CDS, CS, ERES assessments, IA, IOQ)
- Integrate equipment with DeltaV and PI historian using OPC, EtherNet/IP, PI interfaces, and connectors
- Execute IQs and IOQs
- Support scope, deliverables, schedule, and project teams for BoMs and BoPs in automation projects
- Participate in RFP development and vendor analysis for contracting and engineering services
- Identify and manage system integrations
- Coordinate engineering and automation design, commissioning, qualification, and validation activities
- Recommend process and procedural improvements
- Represent the Capital Project Automation group with strong communication and presentation skills
- Provide project status updates to Automation Management
Requirements:
- Must be willing to work onsite in Southington, CT
- Manufacturing mindset with initiative and drive to meet project goals
- Ability to write and execute documentation, manage change, interpret process diagrams, update CAD drawings, and debug machines
- Experience in qualification documentation
- Capable of working independently, meeting deadlines, and effectively communicating updates
- Skilled in supporting executive management and managing multiple projects
- Highly organized with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and internet navigation
- Flexibility to work outside core business hours when needed
- Proven ability to manage fast-moving priorities
- Collaborative team player in a dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with both quantitative and qualitative approaches
- Leadership and influence capabilities aligned with organizational goals
- Excellent decision-making and team-building skills
- Solid understanding of GMP, GLP, and non-GMP project requirements
