The Role
A project-level civil engineering position supporting commercial and residential land development projects from inception through construction administration. You'll work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams across all phases of design and delivery. Given the fast growth of the organization and the team, there is a direct pathway to the Project Manager position on their team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare technical drawings including site plans, grading plans, utility plans, erosion control plans, and stormwater management design for permitting and construction
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate project phases from start to finish
- Prepare stormwater calculations and assist with permit applications
- Review local, county, state, and federal codes applicable to each project
- Coordinate with internal and external consultants to produce complete, coordinated contract documents and specifications
- Provide construction administration support including site visits and shop drawing review
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3-10+ years of civil engineering experience in land or site development
- Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- EIT Required, PE license preferred
- Experience across commercial project types including office, industrial, or multifamily
- Familiarity with local, county, and state permitting processes in Southern California
Compensation
- $100,000 to $160,000 depending on experience, plus bonus eligibility
