Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Facade Project Manager to lead and deliver facade scopes on large-scale new construction projects. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of facade delivery-from preconstruction through installation and close-out-ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role requires strong technical knowledge of building envelope systems, excellent stakeholder management skills, and proven experience coordinating facade works on complex construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery
- Manage all phases of facade works on new construction projects, including curtain wall, window wall, cladding, rainscreen, stone, metal panels, and glazing systems
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans specific to facade scopes
- Oversee procurement, fabrication, delivery, and installation of facade systems
- Coordinate facade activities with general contractors, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
Technical & Design Coordination
- Review and manage facade shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and facade consultants to resolve design and constructability issues
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, performance requirements, and safety standards
Cost & Commercial Management
- Prepare and manage facade budgets, cost forecasts, and change orders
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with facade subcontractors and suppliers
- Track progress billing, payment applications, and cost controls
Quality & Safety
- Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures for facade works
- Conduct site inspections to ensure installation meets design intent and performance criteria
- Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and company safety policies
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for facade-related matters
- Provide regular project updates to clients and senior management
- Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of experience managing facade or building envelope projects on new construction developments
- Strong knowledge of facade systems, materials, and installation methods
- Proven experience working on mid- to large-scale commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience with high-rise or complex facade projects
- Familiarity with contract administration and project management software
- Relevant certifications (PMP, CIOB, or similar) a plus
