Position responsibilities:

  • Manage the business, financial, and operational aspects of multiple mechanical construction projects simultaneously
  • Ensure project profitability while maintaining top-tier quality standards
  • Lead, mentor, and develop assistant project managers and project engineers
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships focused on satisfaction, communication, and long-term partnership
  • Oversee all aspects of project materials, production, schedules, and budgeting
  • Plan workforce and resources to meet project milestones and objectives
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, field teams, vendors, and other project partners
  • Identify, process, and document scope changes, issues, and milestone updates
  • Maintain accurate project documentation through designated document management systems
  • Ensure compliance with the company's quality, safety, and operational standards

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience with a mechanical contractor
  • Commercial or multifamily project experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong commitment to responsive, top-tier customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Oracle, Accubid, or comparable project and estimating software is preferred
  • Experience managing projects remotely (with limited jobsite visits) is a plus
