Position Summary

The company is seeking a hands‑on Project Manager to oversee the execution of ongoing and upcoming commercial projects in Singapore. This role connects engineering, commercial strategy, regulatory processes, and partner ecosystems, ensuring smooth project delivery from bid preparation through commissioning.

The Project Manager will manage end‑to‑end coordination, including bid development, engineering alignment, permitting, stakeholder relationships, and execution tracking. This individual will act as the central communication point, working closely with external partners-including data‑centre operators, commercial facility owners, EPC firms, and system integrators-while also collaborating internally with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and business development teams.


Key Responsibilities

1. Project Development & Bidding Support

  • Contribute to tender preparation, bid documentation, and technical submissions
  • Coordinate engineering inputs for scope definition and technical specifications
  • Develop project timelines, milestone schedules, and risk registers
  • Ensure alignment between commercial proposals and technical feasibility
  • Assist BD/Sales in handling customer technical inquiries

2. External Partner & Client Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects
  • Liaise with client engineering and operations teams
  • Manage technical clarifications and document flow
  • Lead project meetings and keep structured communication records
  • Oversee stakeholder expectations across all project stages

3. Engineering & Design Coordination

  • Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to:
    • Finalise system architecture and technical specifications
    • Align performance, safety, and integration parameters
    • Prepare technical documents and drawing packages
  • Ensure consistency between design, manufacturing, and site requirements
  • Track design updates and manage change‑control processes

4. Permitting & Regulatory Coordination

  • Support preparation and submission of required permitting documents
  • Track regulatory milestones and approval progress
  • Assist with engagements involving authorities in Singapore (e.g., fire safety, electrical integration, building regulations)
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety and industrial standards

5. Timeline & Execution Management

  • Establish and maintain detailed project execution schedules
  • Track procurement, fabrication, and integration progress
  • Coordinate FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing)
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation measures
  • Uphold disciplined documentation and reporting standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in energy infrastructure, power generation, microgrids, generator systems, hydrogen systems, or distributed energy projects
  • Experience managing technical projects involving clients or EPC partners
  • Familiarity with Singapore's regulatory and permitting processes is preferred
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Strong organisational skills and documentation discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
