Job Title: Robotics & Automation Programmer

Overview:

A leading industrial automation team is seeking a skilled Robotics & Automation Programmer to support ongoing and upcoming projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in robot programming, PLC programming, and HMI development, with a focus on Yaskawa robots and Allen Bradley systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Program, configure, and troubleshoot Yaskawa robotic systems for industrial automation applications.
Develop and maintain Allen Bradley PLC logic using platforms such as ControlLogix and CompactLogix.
Design and implement HMI interfaces using FactoryTalk View ME/SE or similar tools.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems.
Conduct system testing, debugging, and commissioning on-site or remotely.
Document programming logic, system configurations, and validation protocols.
Provide technical support and training to internal teams and clients as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience programming Yaskawa robots (Motoman preferred).
Strong proficiency in Allen Bradley PLCs and HMI development.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SCADA systems and integration.
Knowledge of safety standards and compliance in industrial environments.
Relevant certifications in robotics, PLC programming, or industrial automation.
