Senior BIM Manager - Water/Wastewater Infrastructure
A nationally recognized engineering consultancy focused exclusively on water, wastewater, stormwater, and water reuse infrastructure is seeking a highly experienced Senior BIM Manager to lead enterprise-wide BIM strategy, standards, and multi‑discipline coordination.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of corporate BIM standards and define the strategic roadmap for full BIM integration across all projects.
- Maintain and enhance the BIM Execution Plan (BxP) template, ensuring alignment with project needs and industry best practices.
- Oversee creation, management, and coordination of BIM models-including 3D modeling, clash detection, and model validation.
- Build and manage Revit models while mentoring design staff on consistent and efficient modeling techniques.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Navisworks Manage.
- Develop and optimize workflows across Revit, ACC, and Navisworks environments.
- Create systems to manage BIM models throughout the full facility lifecycle.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to develop fully coordinated BIM environments.
- Provide technical oversight on process piping design and BIM integration for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Perform model reviews/audits to ensure compliance with corporate standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
- Lead BIM coordination meetings, identify conflicts, and guide resolution processes.
- Continuously improve BIM practices, standards, and workflows across all disciplines.
- Develop and deliver BIM training programs covering tools, workflows, and interdisciplinary coordination.
- Track model quality, project milestones, and BIM performance metrics, reporting to leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Deep technical understanding of BIM workflows, Revit, Civil 3D, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Expertise in piping systems and integration across complex, multi-discipline projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Extensive hands-on experience with BIM management, piping design, Revit, ACC, and Navisworks Manage.
- Solid understanding of piping layout, design principles, and installation practices.
- Working knowledge of civil, structural, and MEP design fundamentals.
- Proven success coordinating and managing large BIM projects involving multiple engineering teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards including BIMForum LOD Specification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing water and wastewater treatment facilities or related infrastructure.
- Track record of managing large, multidisciplinary design projects.
- Proficiency with advanced BIM automation tools such as IMAGINiT Clarity, Dynamo, or Python scripting.
- Experience with LiDAR scanning, point cloud integration, Autodesk ReCap.
- Minimum 15 years of engineering design or BIM coordination experience.
- Professional BIM certification.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
Compensation
Salary Range: $120,640-$131,040 annually
Final compensation will depend on education, credentials, experience, technical skills, performance, and location.
