About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a dynamic team in the Pittsburgh area. This role involves managing geotechnical engineering projects from inception to completion, including:

  • Planning and scoping geotechnical investigations
  • Preparing and reviewing geotechnical reports
  • Designing retaining walls and evaluating slope stability using geotechnical software
  • Overseeing field assignments and ensuring project deliverables meet quality and regulatory standards

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys working on diverse projects and contributing to impactful engineering solutions.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • 5-15 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Experience with AutoCAD is a plus (not mandatory)
  • Willingness to travel for short to medium-length field assignments
