Job Description
Join a team of water infrastructure experts dedicated to navigating evolving regulations, aging systems, and emerging technologies. This role focuses on designing resilient and flexible solutions that ensure clean drinking water, effective wastewater treatment, and sustainable stormwater management-helping communities stay healthy and thrive.
We are currently seeking an ambitious, senior-level modeler with experience in water, wastewater, stormwater/conveyance, and treatment projects. This position offers a supportive and flexible work environment, enabling high-quality output while maintaining work-life balance. Projects are impactful, challenging, and community-focused.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members on collection system modeling to support conveyance infrastructure design
- Contribute to a variety of projects, including:
- Water distribution systems: hydraulic modeling, master planning, pump/storage evaluations, water quality, and loss studies
- Wastewater collection systems: hydraulic modeling, master planning, RDII analyses, and lift station evaluations
- Water supply planning: surface and groundwater evaluations, reuse systems, and water rights
- Asset management: condition assessments, sanitary sewer evaluation studies, and capital planning
- Conveyance systems: wire-to-water analysis, pump optimization, transient analysis, CFD, and physical modeling management
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related field)
- 8+ years of experience modeling water/wastewater collection, treatment facilities, and distribution systems
- Proficiency with modeling software such as Bentley WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, H2OMap, EPANET, or SWMM/PCSWMM
- Experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, or database tools like MS Access, SQL Server, or Oracle
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred but not required
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
