Senior Structural Engineer - Industrial Projects (PE/SE)
I'm working with a well-established, employee-focused engineering consultancy seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing team, delivering complex industrial and mission-critical projects across the US.

The Role
You will play a key role in leading projects, mentoring teams, and driving technical excellence across a range of industrial and large-scale commercial developments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading structural design and technical delivery across medium to large-scale projects
- Acting as Engineer of Record where applicable, including signing and sealing drawings
- Managing project scope, budgets, schedules, and multi-discipline coordination
- Representing the business in client meetings and leading technical discussions
- Reviewing materials, systems, and construction quality for major project elements
- Mentoring junior engineers and supporting their technical development
- Identifying risks relating to seismic design, load paths, and material performance
- Supporting business development and maintaining strong client relationships
What They're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (PE required, SE preferred)
- 8+ years' experience in structural engineering
- Strong knowledge of US design codes (ASCE, ACI, AISC, IBC)
- Experience delivering projects in industrial/manufacturing environments (essential)
- Exposure to data centres and/or pharmaceutical projects (preferred)
- Working knowledge of BIM tools (ACC/BIM360, Bluebeam, Navisworks)
- Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate multi-discipline projects
- Strong client-facing communication skills
