An established and growing general contractor is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead the field execution of complex water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, and related utility infrastructure projects. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving project performance, ensuring safety, maintaining schedules, and delivering high-quality work from project kickoff through completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead all field operations on large-scale water and wastewater construction projects.
- Manage superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and craft personnel.
- Develop and maintain project schedules while coordinating manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Conduct site meetings and coordinate activities with owners, engineers, and project management teams.
- Identify and resolve field issues to maintain project productivity and schedule commitments.
- Monitor project progress, costs, and resource utilization.
- Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of construction experience with a strong focus on water/wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, lift stations, or heavy civil infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience serving as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent on projects valued at $20M+.
- Strong knowledge of concrete structures, process piping, underground utilities, mechanical installations, and civil sitework.
- Ability to lead large field teams and manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
- Strong scheduling, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA certification preferred.
- Ability to travel or relocate as needed.
