The Role
As a Senior Technical Manager, you will provide technical leadership across a diverse portfolio of projects including:
Water Treatment Plant (WTP) upgrades and expansions
Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) upgrades and expansions
Advanced treatment facilities
Underground conveyance projects
Design-Build delivery projects
Traditional Design-Bid-Build projects
Collaborative delivery programmes
Sustainable and carbon-neutral infrastructure initiatives
You will work closely with project managers, engineering teams, and municipal clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership on complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams through planning, design, and delivery phases.
Oversee engineering deliverables and quality management processes.
Support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution activities.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.
Mentor, develop, and support the growth of engineering staff.
Review and approve technical designs, studies, and engineering solutions.
Support business development and project pursuit activities.
Drive innovative, practical, and cost-effective solutions for municipal clients.
Ensure technical excellence across all phases of project delivery.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited programme.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
Previous consulting engineering experience.
Strong experience delivering Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) projects.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Strong technical expertise within the water and wastewater sector.
Experience managing client relationships and technical project delivery.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing technical staff.
