[SIN] Electrical Senior/Staff/Principal Engineer - Semiconductor
Overview
This role sits within a global facilities engineering organization that supports multiple advanced manufacturing sites across the region. The position focuses on electrical infrastructure strategy, system reliability, and technical governance. You will guide engineering standards, influence large‑scale expansion projects, and drive consistent practices across international locations. The work combines technical depth, cross‑functional collaboration, and leadership in shaping long‑term facilities capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Act as a senior expert for electrical systems, guiding global and regional facilities teams.
- Develop and maintain engineering standards, specifications, and best practices across multiple sites.
- Review and improve electrical system designs to enhance reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Support major infrastructure and expansion projects through design reviews, technical assessments, and coordination with internal and external partners.
- Lead capacity planning, system performance analysis, and scenario modeling for future facility needs.
- Provide oversight and direction to external engineering consultants and project teams.
- Drive global initiatives related to maintenance reliability, operational consistency, and engineering excellence.
- Contribute to sustainability programs focused on energy efficiency, emissions reduction, and green infrastructure.
- Capture lessons learned across global sites and integrate improvements into engineering governance frameworks.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- 7-15 years of experience in semiconductor facilities, high‑tech manufacturing, or other complex industrial environments.
- Strong technical background in electrical distribution (HV/MV/LV), critical power, emergency power, UPS technologies, VFD systems, and facility power distribution.
- Comfortable with periodic international travel (approximately 25%, increasing during key project phases).
- Ability to manage multiple parallel tasks and deadlines.
- Strong organization, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Experience working in cross‑cultural, multi‑site environments; proficient in English.
- Familiarity with manufacturing facility infrastructure and reliability‑focused engineering practices.
