Position Overview
A leading data center developer is seeking a technically strong Electrical Design professional to lead and drive the design of mission-critical infrastructure. This role focuses exclusively on the design phase of data center development and requires deep technical expertise in electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design scope for data center projects, ensuring alignment with operational and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to develop robust, scalable electrical designs.
- Review and approve design documentation, specifications, and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Support design optimization and value engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical design, preferably within data center or mission-critical environments.
- Strong understanding of power distribution, redundancy, and load calculations.
- Familiarity with international and local electrical codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, design-focused environment.
