A leading organization delivering complex construction programs is seeking a Site Superintendent to oversee day-to-day site execution, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This role is ideal for a field leader with strong trade coordination experience, a proactive safety mindset, and a track record delivering prefab-driven scopes, data center builds, or industrial construction projects.
This is a hands-on position focused on site supervision, subcontractor coordination, safety enforcement, productivity, documentation, and punch-list closeout.
What You'll Do
- Provide daily on-site supervision of all construction activities, including subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure work is executed per approved drawings, specifications, and Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS)
- Lead daily site briefings and coordinate work sequencing across trades to maintain progress and flow
- Monitor and improve productivity, manpower planning, and daily/weekly outputs
- Partner with the Site H&S Coordinator to enforce safety protocols and close out observations/nonconformances
- Maintain accurate site records including permits to work, inspections, deliveries, daily logs, and progress reporting
- Identify and escalate risks, schedule impacts, or quality deviations with actionable mitigation plans
- Support site leadership with interfaces, logistics, and stakeholder communication (owners, inspectors, commissioning, engineering)
- Verify installed work for compliance; support punch-list creation, snag resolution, and closeout
- Coordinate change-related impacts with Project Controls and Estimating/QS teams as needed
- Drive a clean turnover mindset-documentation, completion tracking, and readiness for commissioning
Project Experience That Fits Best
Candidates with experience in one or more of the following will stand out:
- Prefab / modular construction (MEP prefab, skids, racking, offsite assemblies, multi-trade prefabrication)
- Data centers / mission-critical (fast-track schedules, QA/QC rigor, trade density, commissioning readiness)
- Industrial construction (process-driven work, high safety compliance, permits, strict sequencing)
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of on-site superintendent or field supervision experience (construction or industrial environments)
- Strong working knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and safety regulations
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain schedule discipline
- Strong communication skills with subs, internal teams, and site stakeholders
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain any required site access credentials
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade qualification or degree in Construction Management / Engineering (preferred, not required)
- Experience using construction reporting tools and MS Office (daily reports, progress tracking, logs)
- Safety or site leadership certifications (OSHA or equivalent), plus a strong documentation mindset
- Experience in fast-track environments where schedule, quality, and turnover are tightly managed
Work Environment
- 100% site-based role in an active construction environment (PPE required)
- Variable working hours, including potential weekends/after-hours as required by project needs
