The Opportunity
A rapidly growing employee-owned engineering consulting firm is seeking a Statewide Water/Wastewater Lead to drive the strategic growth, technical excellence, and client development of its water infrastructure practice across the state. The role will oversee major municipal water and wastewater projects while leading business development efforts, mentoring teams, and expanding relationships with public-sector clients. The firm has established expertise across utility infrastructure, civil engineering, environmental services, transportation, and related disciplines, providing a strong platform for continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the statewide Water/Wastewater practice.
- Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, utilities, and public-sector clients.
- Drive business development, proposal efforts, and project pursuits.
- Provide executive oversight for water treatment, wastewater treatment, collection systems, distribution systems, and pump station projects.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and mentor engineering staff.
- Serve as a senior technical resource and trusted advisor to clients.
- Ensure successful project delivery, quality, profitability, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- 10+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience.
- Strong experience with municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Proven success in business development and client relationship management.
- Previous leadership experience managing teams and project portfolios.
