Structural Engineer
We have a current opportunity for a Structural Engineer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Boise. For further information about this position please apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building and infrastructure projects
Prepare and review engineering calculations, construction drawings, and specifications
Oversee junior engineers and provide technical guidance and mentorship
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design compliance during construction
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
Assist in proposal development and client presentations as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
5-15 years of structural engineering experience
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, RISA, RAM) and AutoCAD/Revit
Strong understanding of local and national building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
