A leading international engineering consultancy is seeking a Structural Forensic Engineer to join its growing U.S. operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for diagnosing structural issues and contributing to safer, more resilient buildings.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for investigating structural failures, assessing damage, and delivering expert analysis across a variety of building types and materials. The position involves close collaboration with architects, contractors, legal teams, and insurers to produce detailed forensic reports and remediation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site investigations and structural assessments.
  • Analyze failures due to wind loads, thermal effects, fatigue, and impact.
  • Prepare clear, technically sound forensic reports.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across international offices.
  • Provide expert support for litigation and insurance claims when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in forensic structural engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. and international building codes.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
