Project Execution & Technical Oversight

  • Lead P&C design efforts for substation projects ranging from 12kV to 500kV.
  • Review engineering packages and provide quality assurance checks for drawings and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering disciplines-including physical design, civil/structural, and project management teams.

  • 5-15 years of experience in protection & control, substation design, or power system engineering.
  • Proficiency with P&C design software such as ASPEN, Cyme, ETAP, CAPE, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of NERC, IEEE, and utility protection standards.
  • Experience in relay logic, configuration, and settings (SEL, GE Multilin, ABB, or Siemens).
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and technical writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SCADA integration, RTUs, PLCs, and communication protocols (DNP3, IEC 61850, Modbus).
  • Experience supporting commissioning, functional testing, and relay troubleshooting.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy interconnection requirements and inverter‑based resource protection schemes.
