This role is ideal for a structural engineer with deep experience in the telecom sector, looking to take ownership of projects, mentor junior staff, and work in a dynamic, client-facing environment. The position offers a blend of office and field work, including site visits and direct client interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of structural systems for telecom-related projects.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors, ensuring alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and oversee junior engineers, promoting high-quality work and professional growth.
- Perform structural calculations, site inspections, and review technical reports to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field).
- 5-15 years of structural engineering experience, with at least 5 years in the telecom industry.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Proficiency in TNX Tower, RISA, and structural design spreadsheets.
- Proven project management and client relationship experience.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
