Vice President of Operations

Position Overview:
The Vice President of Operations is responsible for driving operational excellence across multiple branch locations throughout the Northeast U.S. This role requires a strategic leader who can effectively manage branch managers, optimize service routes, and oversee field service teams dedicated to aquatic management and environmental solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to branch managers, ensuring alignment with company operational goals, safety standards, and client satisfaction.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aimed at maximizing productivity, service quality, and profitability.

  • Oversee service route optimization, workforce scheduling, and resource allocation to enhance efficiency.

  • Establish and monitor operational KPIs, implementing continuous improvement processes to achieve performance objectives.

  • Drive compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements across all service operations.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing operational culture through training, mentorship, and effective communication.

  • Act as a senior point of escalation for resolving operational challenges and ensuring client expectations are consistently met or exceeded.

  • Collaborate closely with sales, business development, and finance teams to align operational capacity with strategic growth objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of senior operational leadership experience, ideally managing multi-site teams in service-oriented businesses (aquatic management, environmental services, landscaping, facilities management, or similar).

  • Proven track record of successfully leading decentralized teams and optimizing field operations.

  • Demonstrated expertise in route planning, resource scheduling, and workforce management.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to interpret operational data to inform decision-making.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.

  • Familiarity with regulatory and safety standards relevant to field-based environmental or aquatic services preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, environmental science, or a related field preferred.

Location:
Northeast U.S. (travel required within region)
