Transportation Project Manager
We are currently working with a 100% employee-owned ESOP on a Transportation Project Manager for their Milwaukee, WI office.
This opportunity is with a well-established, employee-owned engineering consulting firm known for delivering transportation, infrastructure, planning, and design solutions across the Midwest. Key Responsibilities
* Lead transportation projects from planning and design through delivery, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met.
* Establish project priorities, define objectives, and oversee project financial performance.
* Provide technical leadership and serve as a resource to multidisciplinary engineering teams.
* Manage highway, roadway, and local street design projects.
* Support business development efforts through proposal preparation, client presentations, interviews, and relationship management.
* Participate in professional organizations and industry events to strengthen market presence and industry connections.
* Coordinate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams throughout project execution.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license.
* 8+ years of experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and roadway design projects.
* Strong understanding of state DOT design standards and transportation project delivery processes.
* Experience managing projects and client relationships.
* Background in business development, proposal preparation, and pursuit strategy.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software is preferred.
