A growing, technically focused engineering consulting firm is seeking a Water/Wastewater Conveyance Project Manager to lead the delivery of infrastructure projects across Southern California. This is an opportunity to take ownership of high-impact water and wastewater systems within a collaborative environment that values technical quality, responsiveness, and practical solutions.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for a Project Manager who wants to operate with greater autonomy and visibility than is typical in larger consulting firms. You will lead projects from concept through delivery, working in a lean, agile environment where decisions are made efficiently and contributions are immediately visible.
The firm prioritizes strong client relationships and high-quality project delivery, offering the opportunity to build both technical depth in conveyance systems and broader leadership responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver water and wastewater conveyance projects, including:
- Transmission and distribution pipelines
- Sewer collection systems
- Pump stations and related infrastructure
- Oversee project performance across scope, schedule, budget, and quality
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate subconsultants and stakeholders
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and regulatory agencies
- Review engineering designs, technical reports, and construction documentation
- Support proposal development and contribute to ongoing client relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Approximately 8-15 years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure
- Strong experience in conveyance systems design and project delivery
- Proven track record managing projects and leading teams
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Compensation
$145,000 - $180,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonus and comprehensive benefits.
