As part of continued growth across Tennessee, they are looking to appoint an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to support and expand their municipal water practice. Opportunities are available in Nashville or Knoxville.

The Opportunity

This position offers the chance to lead major municipal water and wastewater infrastructure programmes throughout Tennessee, including:

• Water transmission and distribution systems
• Wastewater collection and conveyance networks
• Pump stations and pumping facilities
• Water treatment plants
• Wastewater treatment facilities
• Capital improvement programmes and master planning initiatives

You will oversee projects from initial planning and concept development through design, permitting, procurement, construction, and closeout while serving as a trusted advisor to municipal clients throughout the state.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multi-million-dollar water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across civil, environmental, process, structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets and resource plans.
• Maintain strong relationships with municipal clients and key stakeholders.
• Provide technical oversight and quality assurance on design deliverables.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and project staff.
• Support proposal development, presentations and client pursuits.
• Collaborate with leadership on strategic growth initiatives across Tennessee.
• Assist with business development efforts, including identifying and securing new project opportunities.
• Drive successful project delivery while managing risk, profitability and client satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience within water and/or wastewater infrastructure consulting.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.

Preferred:

• Professional Engineer (PE) licence.
• Degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience delivering municipal water or wastewater projects in Tennessee.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods including Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build or CMAR.
• PMP, CCM, DBIA or similar project management certifications.
