Position Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with at least 6 years of experience in the water/wastewater sector to lead impactful municipal and utility projects. The successful candidate will manage a variety of assignments, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities, with the autonomy to shape project outcomes and mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead water and wastewater projects from planning through construction.
Develop scopes, schedules, and budgets; manage deliverables and deadlines.
Collaborate with public agencies, private clients, consultants, and in-house teams.
Ensure all work complies with applicable regulations and standards.
Provide technical input on designs for pipelines, pump stations, and treatment systems.
Guide and support junior engineers and project team members.
Monitor project financials and ensure profitability.
Assist with proposal development and client engagement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Master's a plus).
Active PE license required (or ability to obtain in Texas within a reasonable timeframe).
Minimum of 6 years of relevant water/wastewater project experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with project management tools and engineering software.
